Almost none: The idea of gaining weight with bcp is common but not proven. The new generation of bcp have very low dose of hormones and do not cause weight gain. The Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot was one of the only contraceptive methods that was associated with weight gain but it is rarely used now days.
