A member asked:

If my period is irregular and comes every 2-3 months or so, are my chances of getting pregnant after sex decreased?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: A 4-week cycle indicates 13 ovulations a year. A 2 months cycle indiates 6 ovulations a year. You still can get pregnant, but as you suspected, your chance is decreased. A common casue for this is polycystic ovarian syndrome. If so, there are some health concerns as well. You really should see your doctor.
