Is having sex during pregnancy normal?

Sex is normal: As long as you have no complicating factors with your pregnancy, sex is ok during pregnancy. If however, you have had bleeding, preterm labor or premature rupture of the membranes, then sex should be avoided.

Yes: Sex is ok during pregnancy as long as it causes no discomfort to the woman. There are complications of the pregnancy when sex is not advisable such as bleeding. In that case, you want to avoid sex until the cause is found to be on the safe side.
