A member asked:

Can mri detect pull/ inflammation/ injury in tissues /muscle/ ligament which is connected from testis to lower abdomen above penile shaft without dye?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Commonly yes : What you describe suggests athletic pubalgia. This is pain around the pubic bone where a number of muscles insert. Arthritis of the symphysis pubis itself can cause pain in this area. Mri can be helpful in diagnosing tendon and muscle injury in this area. Answer is recycled.
