Need to be seen: Although it is unlikely - pregnancy can still occur and after a tubal ligation there is a higher chance of it being an ectopic pregnancy (if pregnancy does occur). Other things can cause spotting, and pain, but that is the most important thing that needs to be ruled out, as an ectopic pregnancy can be very dangerous, even fatal - if it ruptures.
