Maybe: It could be abrasions from masturbation, but you can have a non primary herpes outbreak up to a year after exposure. Would have your doc take a look at the areas to make sure its not herpes.

Probable: Rough masterbation can be associated with skin redness on the penis. If it is asymptomatic it should resolve by refraining from the activity.
