My friend has had herpes for three years now, however, she is now pregnant with her first baby. she is concerned about the welfare of ger baby.

Outbreaks= C/S: Late pregnancy herpes outbreaks may cause the OB md to decide on a c/section to avoid transmission to the infant via vaginal delivery. Herpes will attack the central nervous system of a infant if contracted at delivery.
