Molluscum treatment: Molluscum is a viral infection that is moderately contagious. When found around the eye, there may be chronic conjunctivitis in the adjacent eye. There is no really good home treatment, though it will resolve with time. There is anecdotal evidence that some of the chemicals used in pools may take out the virus. So go swimming! the lesions can be excised or treated with cryo depending on location.
