1wk to 6 months: Different stds have different intubation periods. It ranges from one week for gonorrhea, trichomonas and chlamydia to 6 months for hiv. That is why you must be very careful whom you take as a sex partner. Syphilis and hepatitis take about 6 weeks to detect. Discuss the specifics with your doctor.
