Autonomic response: Sexual function like erection and ejaculation is mediated by a part of nervous system which is called autonomic system. The voiding functions( urinating) is also served by the save autonomic nervous system . Hence both functions are intimately related.To be precise, erection and bladder emptying are served by parasympathetic part of autonomic system . Hence both are related.
