How do u know if a cut on ur vagina is a tear from sex or herpes?

Herpes does not..: ...Cause a "cut." you will have a painful or tingly spot, followed in about a day by vesicles (fluid filled bumps) that will then open, leaving a painful crusted sore. If it doesn't do that, it's probably not herpes.
