Should i take a chance with a guy that has type 1 genital herpes?

It Depends: What do you mean by "take a chance". He happens to have a virus that he could possibly give you that is not life threatening & manageable.There are things that can help prevent transfer & you may already have hsv1-have you been checked? Many have it & never know. It becomes more of a question of how you feel about him & whether you see him as a potential long-term mate & if honesty trumps hsv.
