A member asked:

Please tell me how long it takes for to get your period after not using birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If your periods were regular prior to using birth control pills, it is likely you will start again within a few weeks after stopping. However if you do not ovulate regularly on your own it may take much longer to have a normal period after stopping pills.
