You don't say whether the pain is vulvar i.e. external (labia, vaginal opening, etc) or internal, i.e. pain in the pelvic area and lower abdomen. The latter is potentially serious. External/vulvar pain is less likely to be dangerous. HPV infections do not cause pain of any kind, no worries there. See your doctor soon -- if internal pain, get care ASAP, especially if pain is worsening, fever, etc.
