: Simply cleaning them off with soap &amp; water is likely adequate. The Lysol is an added factor that may or may not be needed. I would not toss my own shoes if they could be cleaned adequately to look normal.

There probably is no need for a disinfectant. A thorough washing with soap and water should be enough. Good luck.
