acne from masturbating?

No: By your age, almost all guys are masturbating. It's a good thing overall. You stay comfortable and can focus on other tasks. You learn about your mind and body in preparation for adult life. And most teens get acne. All acne is manageable today; your physician can help. If anybody hassles you about what you do in private, ignore them; dad might even be a guy to talk to about all this. Best wishesl.

Can masturbating help with acne?

No & won't hurt: It will have little effect on the serum testosterone or female androgens that precipitate acne. How often you masturbate is a personal decision; almost everyone does it; it's safe, a way to keep your new body under control, and a way to learn about yourself before you get married. Maybe there's an adult in your home that you can talk about it with.

No: Enjoying your body isn't going to give you acne. If the benzoyl peroxide stuff you're using now isn't sufficient, your physician can clear you using prescription rx.

Some handy facts...: Normal men, women, boys, and girls masturbate (it's universal). It is not harmful, as the body goes through similar effects during regular sex with a partner (but too much of anything may become a problem). Masturbation does not stunt height, cause acne or hair loss, make you weak, create heart problems, lower testosterone, affect virginity, lower fertility, change your weight, or damage vision.
