I had unprotected sex since then i have been cramping especially on the left side and i have been spotting on and off as well like a pink/brown color. also nausea and bloating. any idea what could be occuring?

If the symptoms are caused by the hormones of pregnancy a simple urine pregnancy test would be positive. Nausea and bloating are non-specific and often diet related. Discharge can be benign or an infection. Do the test & if the discharge increases get evaluated.

Conception occurs within day or so of the sex. It takes about 3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG for a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.
