The main cause of strong vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria; and BV often is triggered by STDs. If this is a new problem, and/or you are sexually active, see a doctor soon for examination and testing. Also, if "washing vagina" means douching (with water or anything else), you need to stop. Douching is bad for vaginal health and by itself can can cause BV.
