I'm 19 & i've only had sex once, with condom. i want to have unprotected sex in about 20 days & am on 2nd day of my period currently. i have no experience with bc pills & want to know when, how and which do i take. can i take them for just one month?

Can or should ? BC pills are often started the last day of menses & continued at the same time daily. Your body may need time to adapt to the pill before it prevents ovulation so many OBGYNs recommend backup birth control for at least the first month. I would not recommend relying on the pill or use for a single month.
