Because of hormonal changes during this luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, generally there is whitish,cloudy discharge as the vagina starts to shed cells&debris. I think a decrease in vaginal secretion just prior to your period is unusual but not necessarily indicative of pathology. Your gynecologist can answer your question best.
