Urgent Care Exam: Several underlying health conditions can cause long periods including uterine fibroids, uterine polyps, adenomyosis, or sometimes, a precancerous or cancerous lesion of the uterus. Hormonal imbalances such as with hypothyroidism or a bleeding disorder can also cause a long period. I therefore suggest you go to an Urgent Care Center to be examined. I wish you well with your health!

Gynecologist: It is a good idea to meet with your Gynecologist who can evaluate your prolonged bleeding. If you are dizzy, lightheaded or similarly affected, please proceed to urgent care or emergency.
