Rest/ cold washcloth: A cold clean washcloth applied to the vulva and rest. will minimize the blood engorgement/swelling. Additionally, as a mater of prevention, minimize excessively "hard" sexual intercourse which can cause bleeding or hematoma into the labial/vulva spaces.
