Stained underwear: Normal vaginal mucus is clear but when it dries on underwear it can leave tan or yellowish staining. As long as there is no bad odor or definite heavy yellow vaginal discharge and/or itching, I wouldn't suspect a vaginal infection. Wear a panty liner if the staining annoys you.
