I will be taking 150 mg single dose of fluconazole monday for a yeast infection. when is it safe to consume alcohol again (3 days ok)? will this medication affect the birth control pill, ashlyna?

Medications: There is no interaction between Ashylna and fluconazole. Alcohol (ethanol) is the toxic waste product of a fungus and toxic to our bodies. It has addictive qualities. I recommend that my patient avoid alcohol.

I typically will prescribe 2 or 3 tabs of Diflucan, a tablet every three days, for a better cure rate.
