About big veins...: A varicocele is enlargement of the veins in the scrotum, usually above the testicle. If it causes no symptoms, then it should not be an urgent issue, but one can see his primary care doctor or a urologist to find out what is going on. If there is testicle pain, one should be seen right away to make sure there is not a torsion or twisting of the testicle.
