BCP bleeding ?'s: The most common cause of bleeding while on low dose oral bcp's is a failure to take the active pills no more than one hour later than the previous active pill. The dose is so low, that punctuality is required to eliminate breakthrough bleeding. Stop the pills now, wait five days, and start a new pack. Take the active pills at the same time every evening.
