Yes and no: It is very common to catch or carry more than one STD. But the standard lab tests do not interfere with one another; any other tests that were done are still accurate. (For example, when tested for both gonorrhea and chlamydia, if one is negative and the other positive, both results are accurate.) If you've had a positive result or uncertain, for sure follow up with your doctor or clinic ASAP.
