Define cure ???: HPV is a family of viral strains well known for their ability to hibernate in the human body & reappear years or decades after their initial infection clears. Like their cousin shingles, some may or may not ever see it return. The long term effect of genital wart strains is just recurrence. For those strains associated with cancer it may or may not ever appear years or decades later. Maybe/not!
