A member asked:

Can you get cervical cancer from oral sex alone? i tried looking it up but only see throat cancer risk. thanks

Yes and no: cervical cancer and throat cancer is caused predominantly by HPV infection. Thus you are at risk of cervical cancer if you are infected on your cervical head. HPV infection of the throat can be caused by receptive oral sex. Thus, if partners both partake in oral and genital sex, they can infect each other on all 4 areas even if only one site on one of them is infected.
