Hair loss:YAZ ?: Low dose oral contraceptives contain both an estrogen analog and a progesterone analog in the "active pills", and the amount of both hormones is less than you produce when your ovaries are working normally (the ovaries do not produce either hormone when taking oral contraceptives). The "hypothyroidism" should be controlled, and the hair loss should not continue unless genetic in your family.
