Spotting: If by "birth control" is meant "oral contraceptives", it is common if not taking the active pills punctually (that is within the hour of the previous day's active pill) that some irregular bleeding can occur. Suggeston would be to stop all pills, wait a few days, and start a new pack of oral bcp's. Take your active pills in the evening so as not to have as many sleep disturbances.
