Little if any risk: In theory, such indirect transmission might happen, and cosmetologists with oral herpes should be careful about hygiene, e.g. frequent hand washing, alcohol gel, etc. Still, transmission ris in this setting is very low; passing HSV usually requires direct contact with herpes sores, e.g. kissing. Also, there's a 50-50 chance you already have HSV1, in which case you're immune to a new infection.
