Yeast?: The most common cause of new vaginal area itching is yeast infection. Ideal to see a health care provider for diagnosis and Rx, but if that's not immediately practical, try an over-the-counter yeast preparation like miconazole, clotrimazole (or any product with active ingredient ending in "azole"). For sure get care if that doesn't clear it up within a few days.
