Hematospermia: Hematospermia is the appearance of blood in the ejaculate. While it is usually alarming to patients, the cause is almost always benign. The initial evaluation consists of a history, physical examination, and urinalysis. Those who have symptoms of urethritis should be tested for infections of the urinary tract. Often the cause is not apparent, and the condition disappears spontaneously.
