Not from toilets.: "You will not get herpes from toilet seats, bedding, or swimming pools, or from touching objects around you such as silverware, soap, or towels." REF: https://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/stdfact-herpes.htm It can be spread through saliva or skin contact with or without obvious lesions.
