Started norethindrone about 2 weeks ago. my breasts are painful and sore, and i am so moody and irritable that i'm getting annoyed with myself! what can i do to alleviate these things until my body adjusts to the minipill?

Oral contraceptive: If the symptoms don't resolve - let your prescribing provider know- as there might be another oral contraceptive choice that causes less side effects.

Side effects: These symptoms are common with any birth control and more than likely will resolve after another few weeks. However if they don't, it might be a good idea to discuss with the prescribing professional!
