Less than 2.5%: The chance of an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy after getting your tubes tied is less than 2.5%. If you are having unusual bleeding, you should still get a pregnancy test to make sure as an ectopic pregnancy can be serious. This is especially true if you are having pain in your lower abdomen. Best wishes.

Pregnancy test: The younger a woman is at the time she has her tubes tied, the higher the likelihood of failure. A pregnancy test will rule out tubal pregnancy.
