Hmmm....: Regular contraceptive pills (birth control pills) are for daily use. A person takes them once a day, and her withdrawal periods will be regular if she takes her pills once a day until the "placebo" week (the "off" week or the "inactive" week). Emergency contraceptive pills are RARELY to be used (only when primary means of contraception fail), and periods may be off-schedule for 1-2 months after.
