I had unprotected sex two day ago so i would like to know does the contraceptive shot work the same way as the plan b contraceptive?

Usually effective: for up to 72 hrs. Do a home pregnancy test. Consider use of condoms and spermicidal foam or gel. Get a GYN exam: if you are old enough to have sexual intercourse, then you are old enough to protect yourself from pregnancy and infection.
