Probably not: Male genital odor is not a sign of STD, but perhaps of genital hygiene -- frequency of washing etc. But the context of your question suggests he is a new partner or perhaps someone you don't know well. So STD testing might make sense, just to be safe, especially if you also had vaginal or anal sex.
