Hard to say: Yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) is not specifically known to cause freckles or blackening of skin, but there is no way to tell, if in an individual woman it may do so. Neither is there a way to tell whether once the skin alterations have happened they will disappear after stopping Yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol).
