Depo-Provera lasts..: A Depo-Provera shot lasts 3 months, which means a woman is no longer protected against pregnancy if it has been longer than 3 months since the last shot. May 2015 was eleven months ago. Thus, if not wanting to get pregnant, one must stop having sex until a reliable form of birth control (contraception) is started.
