A member asked:

I want to have sex but with out condom and pills. does it prevent pregnancy if i have sex after my periods? ??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No guarantees: Pregnancy has been documented on any day of a woman's cycle including when exposed during menses. There are certainly days in mid-cycle that are considered more likely to lead to pregnancy, but the "rhythm" method offered by some is unreliable.Either find a BC method you can live with or accept the chance that you may get pregnant.
