Litle or no risk: The chance of transmitting herpes from this sort of contact is zero or close to it. And herpes doesn't infect the hands. Of course you should use common sense hygiene around your baby, including washing or alcohol gel (e.g. Pure) after toilet. But the risk if you forget is extremely low. Nobody ever catches a genital herpes infection except by sex with an infected person. Don't worry about it.
