Anal Itching...: 47 y/o female Kept awake with stomach gurgling, nausea, anal itching? Most likely one ate or drank some thing that was disagreeable with the body earlier in the day to induce gurgling (gasiness) /nausea. Anal itching is somewhat unusual. Could be gas released by food poisoning trying to escape through the rectum/anus. If symptoms persist beyond 24hrs see Gastroenterologist
