I'm a week early on my period but i have also been having sex unprotected, i was also in an accident where i needed x rays, could i be having a miscar?

While exposure to: x-rays early in pregnancy is linked to birth defects, x-rays are unlikely to cause a miscarriage. If your period is unusually heavy or painful OR you notice blood clots or other material in the menstrual flow OR a home pregnancy test is (+), you should see a doctor.
