Pregnancy test: The likelihood of pregnancy increases the more pills were missed. A cycle where several pills were missed should be considered unsafe, even if all remaining pills are being taken. Even if a menstrual period commences, it is prudent to take a home pregnancy test, before starting a new pack of pills.
