Friction: from intercourse, masturbation, manipulation or oral sex are common causes. Tight fitting thong underwear. or clothing can also be factors. Abstain sexually for 1 week, only gentle lukewarm washing of the vaginal area. If not improving in 1 week- see GYN and check for infection or STD.
