Human Papillomavirus: can only cause warts in humans. Dogs have their own variant called CPV (canine papillomavirus). If you have pets who regularly drink out of the toilet and also lick family members on the face, you would be wise to remind all household members to put the lid down on the toilet after each use to prevent the dog from using the toilet as a water bowl.
