Latex allergy: It sounds like you may have an allergic reaction to latex rubber -which is quite common actually. You might feel better with some benadryl (diphenhydramine) or other antihistamine. Cool water might help. Obviously avoidance of all things 'rubber' is important. If your gyn symptoms don't improve, best to see your gyn and/or allergist. If you have any breathing problems, go immediately to the ER (911). Feel better.
